TempProof ("we", "our") provides a web-based food safety temperature logging tool for small restaurants and food trucks. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

• Waitlist signups: your email address, the source page, and the time you signed up. We use this only to send you the free template and early-access updates.
• App usage (beta): the TempProof app currently stores your facility name, readings, and photos only in your own browser's local storage. None of this is sent to our servers.
• Photo temperature reading: when you use the AI photo-reading feature, the photo you select is sent temporarily to our AI provider to read the temperature value. The photo is not stored by us.

2. How we use information

• To send you the free checklist template and waitlist updates.
• To operate and improve the product.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.

3. Data retention & deletion

Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them. To be removed from the waitlist, contact us and we will delete your email. You can clear app data at any time by resetting your browser's local storage for this site.

4. Cookies & analytics

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. We may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage.

5. Children's privacy

TempProof is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
